CEPIA is a Costa Rican based non-profit which seeks to improve the quality of life of children and teenagers and their families from poor backgrounds in Costa Rica by promoting cultural development, educational and market opportunities, physical and mental health as well as social cohesion and participation.
Rose of Charity Orphanage - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Rose of Charity began in 2007 when a group of people in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, who were each individually helping deprived children in the area, came together with the aim to DO SOMETHING AMAZING and make a positive difference in childrens lives. The orphanage serves approximately 70 children.
Casa Hogar - San Jose del Cabo Mexico
This orphanage located outside of beautiful Cabo San Lucas is the home to approximately 20 children from the ages of 6 months to 15 years. These children are provided loving support from their caretakers but are in need of funds to build a bigger home and provide the needed supplies for the children.
Green Pastures School - Nairobi, Kenya
Green Pastures School serves the children in Kibera, Africa's largest slum. Here hundreds of thousands of children are without access to a decent education. Green Pastures was started in 1994 by Margaret Mutinda, and in spite of a severe lack of resources, gained itself a strong reputation.
Vietnam-Global Village Foundation Mobile Library Project
The concept of the Mobile Library Project and Reading Animation Workshops is simple: to bring books and much needed educational supplies to areas in Vietnam where children have no access to learning tools. It is a gold mine for these children in the rural provinces of Vietnam who yearn to learn to read, write and become storytellers. $500 delivers a mobile library with books in English & Vietnamese!
Machu Picchu Peru
Munaychay Village nestled in the Peruvian Andes, 60 kilometers from Cusco. Munaychay is home to 70 children who were orphaned, abandoned or given up by parents unable to care for them. Here they can grow and develop in a safe and secure environment, in harmony with their indigenous culture.
Greater Commission United – Cape Town, South Africa
The Greater Commission United was founded in 2001 to focus on helping the Youth in Cape Town stay off the streets, and away from gangs and drugs. The Soccer Academy offers approximately 250 boys from ages 7-19 with a place to go and play soccer and aims to provide each boy with the needed Equipment to play on a soccer team each week.
Baan Kingkaew Orphanage - Chiang Mai Thailand
The Baan Kingkaew orphanage is located in Northern Thailand near Chiang Mai. The orphanage has a home for 50 children between the ages of 3 months to 6 years old. The mission is to provide shelter, love and caring to every child in their care, and to raise these children and educate them to become good citizens.
